Mumbai Indians is the most successful IPL franchise with five trophies, this franchise is led by the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. But even after being the most successful team, Mumbai Indians also had some worst matches in their journey in IPL.

There are many matches when Mumbai Indians got their lowest score in IPL, we will share the complete list of MI’s lowest score in IPL so far.

MI 87 All Out vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Mumbai Indians’ worst inning was 87 all out against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 23rd match of IPL 2018. Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first, Sunrisers Hyderabad was only able to set the target of 118 runs after losing all their wickets in 18.4 overs.

In response, Mumbai Indians’ batting finished at just a score of 87 runs in 18.5 overs, they lost all their 10 wickets. Suryakumar Yadav scored the most runs — 34 runs in 38 balls and then captain Rohit Sharma 24 runs in 20 balls.

Mumbai Indians lost the match by 31 runs margin, this was the MI lowest score in IPL history.

MI 87 All Out vs Kings XI Punjab

In the 54th match of IPL 2011, Mumbai Indians got all out at just a low score of 87 runs against Kings XI Punjab at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mumbai. This is the second-lowest score of MI in IPL history.

Despite being the most successful IPL franchise, MI had many worst matches in their IPL journey and this one was one of them where they lost all their wickets at just a score of 87 runs.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited KXIP to bat first, Punjab set the target of 164 runs for MI to chase after losing 8 wickets. In response, Mumbai Indians could only reach 87 runs in 12.5 overs.

No one from Mumbai’s side scored 20+ runs, this was one of the worst matches by Mumbai Indians in the history of IPL. Mumbai Indians lost that match by a huge margin of 76 runs.

Harbhajan Singh was leading the team that season. He was the most runs scorer in that match, he scored 33 runs in 22 balls and Rohit Sharma 29 runs in 27 balls.

In response, Delhi Daredevils easily chased the target set by MI after losing 3 wickets in 14.5 overs. Mumbai Indians won the match by a margin of 7 wickets and 31 balls remaining.

In the 23rd match of IPL 2013, Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bat first, RR set the target of 180 runs after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Ajinkya Rahane scored the most runs for his team, he scored 68 runs in 54 balls with a strike rate of 125.92 and Dishant Yagnik scored 34 runs in 24 balls with a strike rate of 141.66.

In response, Mumbai Indians were only able to reach 92 runs and lost all their wickets. Dinesh Karthik scored 30 runs in 32 balls, this was the most run for MI. Ambati Rayudu scored 27 runs in 29 balls.

In response, Mumbai failed to chase the target. Because of the poor performance, MI was all out a just a score of 92 runs in 16.3 overs. Mumbai Indians lost the match by 85 runs.

MI 94/8 vs Rajasthan Royals

Mumbai Indians once scored 94 runs and lost 8 wickets which is one of their lowest score in the Indian Premier League. This was the 34th match of IPL 2011 played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to field first at their home ground, Mumbai Indians could only score 94 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. No one from the team scored 20+ runs.

In response, Rajasthan Royals chased the target in 18.1 overs and lose 3 wickets. Mumbai Indians lost that match by a margin of 7 wickets.

MI 101/9 vs Pune Warriors

In the 3rd match of IPL 2012 between Mumbai Indians and Pune Warriors at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, Mumbai had one of the lowest team scores. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to field first at their home ground.

PW set the target of 130 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. It was an easily chasable target but this did not go well with the MI. They lost 9 wickets and could only able to score 101 runs in 20 overs.

James Franklin and Dinesh Karthik scored 32 runs in 32 balls and 32 runs in 42 balls respectively, other than these two, no one scores the 20 runs benchmark. Mumbai Indians lost that match by a margin of 28 runs.

MI 108 All Out vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai Indians lost all their wickets at just a score of 108 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2012 which became one of the MI’s lowest scores in IPL history. It was the 65th match of IPL 2012 played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Kolkata batted first after losing the toss, they set the target of 141 runs for MI to chase after losing their 7 wickets. In response, MI lost all their 10 wickets at just a score of 108 runs and was defeated by KKR by a margin of 32 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar scored the most runs for the team, 27 runs in 24 balls and Dinesh Karthik scored 21 runs in 26 balls

MI 111 All Out vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

It was the 39th match of IPL 2021 between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Dubai Cricket Stadium. Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited RCB to bat first, RCB set the target of 166 runs on the board after losing 6 wickets.

Captain Virat Kohli made a half-century, he scored 51 runs in 42 balls and Glenn Maxwell scored 56 runs in 37 balls.

In response, Mumbai Indians could only reach 111 runs and lost all their wickets. This brings the victory for RCB by 54 runs margin.

MI 113 All Out vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders, 56th match of IPL 2022 played at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. MI won the toss and decided to field first, KKR batted first and set the target of 166 runs after losing 9 wickets.

In response, Mumbai Indians lost all their wickets at just a score of 113 runs in 17.3 overs. MI was defeated by 52 runs.
