Lowest score by RCB in IPL

Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the most popular IPL franchises, most favourite players of IPL played from this franchise such as Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell. Also, Chris Gayle played for this franchise and made many records which are still unbroken so far.

But RCB has never won any IPL trophies so far in the 15 seasons of India Premier League. Although they have played the IPL final three times, first in 2009 against Deccan Chargers, 2011 against Chennai Super Kings and 2016 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

49 runs all out is the RCB Lowest Score in IPL history, this came against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 27th match of IPL 2017. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and invited Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first.

RCB batted first and scored 131 runs after losing all their wickets. Sunil Narine came to open and scored 34 runs in 17 balls with a strike rate of 200.00. No one else scored 20+ runs in that match.

In the second inning, RCB got all out at just a score of 49 runs in 9.4 overs. From RCB’s side, no one even scored 10 runs. This was the worst inning by the RCB franchise in IPL history.

KKR won the match by 82 runs and this match is always being remembered as the RCB lowest score in IPL history.

RCB 68 All Out vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

In the 36th match of IPL 2022 which was played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first, RCB was able to score only 68 runs and lost all their 10 wickets in 16.1 overs.

It was the second-lowest score by RCB in IPL history, Marco Jansen and T Natarajan took 3 wickets from Hyderabad’s side which helped SRH to all out RCB at a very low score of 68 runs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad chased the target in just 8 overs after losing only one wicket. Abhishek Verma scored 47 runs in 28 balls with a strike rate of 167.85. SRH won the match by 9 wickets and 72 balls remaining.

RCB 70 All Out vs Chennai Super Kings

Royal Challengers Bangalore lost all their wickets at just a low team score of 70 runs in 16.1 overs. No one from the RCB team scored 20 runs and due to the bad batting performance by the team, RCB lost the match by 9 wickets.

In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match in 8 overs after losing only one wicket. SRH won by 9 wickets and 72 balls remaining.

RCB 70 All Out vs Rajasthan Royals

In the 14th match of IPL 2014, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost all their wickets at just a score of 70 runs. Only captain Virat Kohli scored 21 runs in 25 balls and no one else scored even 20 runs.

Pravin Tambe did the best job for Rajasthan and took 4 wickets by spending 20 runs in 4 over spell. In response, Rajasthan Royals won the match by losing 4 wickets in 13 overs.

RCB 82 All Out vs Kolkata Knight Riders

The first match of the inaugural season of India Premier League is being remembered for Brendon McCullum’s 158 runs not out in 73 balls inning. RCB won the toss and decided to field first, KKR scored 222 runs after losing 3 wickets.

Brendon McCullum scored 158 runs not out in 73 balls which became the highest individual score by a batsman in IPL until broken by Chris Gayle.

In the second inning, RCB was only able to reach 82 runs and lost all their wickets. KKR won the match by 140 runs margin.

RCB 87 All Out vs Chennai Super Kings

Royal Challengers Bangalore got all out at a very low score of 87 runs against Chennai Super King in the 5th match of IPL 2009. CSK won the toss and elected to bat first, they set the target of 179 runs after losing 5 wickets.

In return, RCB could only reach 87 runs in 15.2 overs after losing all their 10 wickets and losing the match by 92 runs.

RCB 92 All Out vs Kolkata Knight Riders

The 31st match of IPL 2021 took place in Abu Dhabi, RCB batted first and got all out at just a low score of 92 runs in 19 overs. From RCB’s side, Devdutt Padikkal scored the most runs, 22 runs in 20 balls and others went back to the pavilion at just a score of fewer than 20 runs.

In response, KKR chased the target after losing just one wicket in 10 overs. Shubman Gill scored 48 runs in 34 balls and Venkatesh Iyer scored 41 runs in 27 balls.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the match by 9 wickets and 60 balls remaining.

RCB 96/9 vs Rising Pune Supergiants

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored one of their lowest team score in IPL 2017 against Rising Pune Supergiants, RCB scored just 96 runs and lost their 9 wickets in the 34th match of IPL 2017.

RCB won the toss and decided to bat field first, RSP set the target of 157 runs after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. In response, RCB could only able to scored 96 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Rising Pune Supergiants won the match against Royal Challengers Banglore by 61 runs margin in Pune.

RCB 105 All Out vs Rajasthan Royals

Once RCB got all out at just a team score of 105 runs against Rajasthan Royals, this score also includes in the list of RCB Lowest Score in IPL history. This was the 33rd match of IPL 2009, RR won the toss and elected to field first.

By batting first, RCB could only score 105 runs and lost all of their wickets in 20 overs with a run rate of 5.25 runs per over. This was one of the lowest score of RCB in IPL history.

In response, Rajasthan chased the target in 15 overs after spendig 3 wickets and won the match by 7 wickets and 30 balls remaining.

RCB 109 All Out vs Kings XI Punjab

In the 6th match of IPL 2020 played in Dubai between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab on September 24, 2020.

RCB won the toss and invited KXIP to bat first, KL Rahul scored 132 runs not out in 69 balls with a strike rate of 191.30. With the help of captain Rahul’s brillient inning, KXIP set the total of 207 runs to chase for RCB after losing 3 wickets.

But RCB batting order couldn’t stand against KXIP’s bowling attack, RCB lost all their wickets at just a score of 109 runs in 17 overs.

Kings XI Punjab lost by 97 runs at Dubai in 6th match of IPL 2020.
