ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule, Teams, Venue: The 13th edition of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in India starting from 5 October 2023. This will be the first time India hosted the 50-overs Cricket World Cup entirely.
India had partially hosted three editions of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup back in 1987 (with Pakistan), 1996 (with West Pakistan and Ceylon) and 2011 (with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). The tournament was first scheduled to be played from 9 February to 26 March 2023 but in July 2022, it was postponed to October – November 2023, due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
The official CWC 2023 Schedule has been announced by the ICC, and the tournament will begin on October 05, 2023, and the final match will be played on November 19 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

CWC 2023 Format
There will be a total of 10 teams playing in the tournament, every team will play with other teams in a round-robin (randomly selected team) format. This edition’s format will be the same as the Cricket World Cup 1992 and 2019. The top four teams would play in the semi-finals and then the two winning teams will compete with each other in the Finals.
