The world cup tournament is going to take place in October from the 16th and the final will be held on November 13th. Australia, England, South Africa and the Netherlands have already rolled out their squad and Indian cricket fans were eagerly waiting for their India squad for T20 World Cup.

As usual, India will be playing their World Cup opening match on October 23 against their biggest rival Pakistan.

India was knocked out from the recently held Asia Cup 2022 by losing to Pakistan by 5 wickets and then to Sri Lanka by 6 wickets. After this knockout from the Asia Cup, fans are worried about the performance of the team in the upcoming ICC Men’s World Cup 2022.
But this squad shows the strength of the Indian batting as well as the bowling side for the tournament. Especially the bowling side, after coming to Jasprit Bumrah & Harshal Patel are back in the squad and Mohd. Shami is in the reserve.
All the teams are divided into two groups, India is in Group 2 with Bangladesh, Pakistan & South Africa. And in Group 1, Afghanistan, Australia, England & New Zealand will play with each other.
Along with this, there would be two more teams in each group after competing in the qualifier round. In the qualifier round, Sri Lanka, West Indies, UAE, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands and Namibia will play with each other to get their slot in the World Cup 2022 tournament.
These teams are also divided into two groups; Group A & Group B. Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, and the Netherlands will play with each other in Group A and West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe and Ireland are part of Group B.
Sri Lanka, the Asia Cup 2022 winner will also play the qualifier matches to confirm their spot in the Super 12 matches.

Australia won the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, it was the first time Australia won a T20 World Cup trophy. Australia defeated New Zealand on 14 November 2021 in the final and picked up their first T20 World Cup trophy.
It was an excellent performance by the Kangaroo that helped him to register a win by 8 wickets. Mitchell Marsh played an excellent inning of 77 runs in 50 balls and David Warner 53 runs in 38 balls.
David Warner was awarded the “Player of the Series” title because of his excellent performance throughout the tournament.
On the other side, Kane Williamson scored 85 runs in 48 balls but his inning couldn’t help his team to win.
