IPL 2020 Points Table & Team Rankings: Mumbai Indians won their fifth IPL trophy, two trophies in a row. Mumbai Indians was the winner of the previous season and they again won the trophy continuously two trophies.
This is their fifth trophy which makes this franchise, the most successful IPL franchise with the most IPL trophies. Chennai Super Kings is the second most successful IPL franchise with four trophies. But they had bad luck this year, were only able to win 6 matches out of 14 total matches played. CSK finished their season in the 7th position in the points table.
Mumbai Indians won 9 out of 14 matches and finished the league stage in first position on the points table.
IPL 2020 had being conducted late this year because of the COVID outbreak, it started in September 2020 in UAE. Venues of IPL changed due to bad COVID conditions in India.
IPL 2020 final match was played between the Mumbai Indian and Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Stadium where MI defeated DC by 5 wickets and won their fifth IPL trophy, second in a row.
