
Tata IPL 2022 Schedule: IPL 2022 is around the corner, BCCI announced two new teams, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants will also take part in the league. So, it became a total of 10 IPL franchises this season. Fans are very excited for this season because the more teams the lengthier tournament and the tougher the competition.
IPL 2022 Auction will be a mega auction, this was scheduled to be conducted just before the IPL 2021 but due to Covid conditions, it could not be possible. Just a mini-Auction held before that season.
But this year, there will be a Mega Auction to take place before the league.

Tata IPL 2022 Teams

IPL used to have 8 teams, but this year’s edition will have 10 IPL teams as BCCI introduced two new IPL franchises this year — Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants.
Gujarat Titans will be led by Hardik Pandya and India opener KL Rahul will lead the Lucknow Super Giants.

The last year’s IPL was played in the UAE because of the COVID pandemic condition here in India. But hopefully, everything is fine this year and IPL Season 2022 will be conducted here in India.

Tata IPL 2022 Format
IPL 2022 edition won’t be conducted in the normal format of the Indian Premier League where each team plays two matches with other teams, one on their home ground and another one on the opposition’s home ground.
In IPL 2022, all 10 teams will be divided into two grounds — Group A & Group B. Group A and B teams will play one match with each other and each team from both groups will play 1 more match which will be selected from the draw.
A total of 14 matches will be played by each franchise…
We hope that if not this year, then Next year IPL should be returned to their normal home-away format which we love.
