IPL 2023 Points Table: IPL Season 16th is all set to commence on 31st March 2023, all fans are very excited to see their favourite team and players play. The first match will be played between Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings on 31st March 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Like the previous edition, there will be a total of 10 teams this season also. Unlike the previous season, Indian Premier League is back with its old home-away format where all teams will play twice to other teams — one at their home ground and another on the opposition team’s home ground.
There will be a total of 10 venues for all the matches, unlike the previous season when all matches were conducted on a few selected grounds across India.

When a team wins a match, they get two points, and when they lose — 0 points. The more points a team earns the higher they climb up on the points table. The top four teams qualify for the next round of the tournament which is the Qualifier round.

Indian Premier League is back to its traditional home and away format, where each team will play 7 home and 7 away matches. Each team will play twice against other teams. One game at their home ground and another at the opposition team’s home ground.
There will be a total of 10 venues across India for the Indian Premier League 2023 which is going to take place from 31 March 2023 to 21 May 2023.
