IPL 2022 Points Table: In the IPL 2022, BCCI introduced two new franchises — Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. GT is led by Indian All Rounder Hardik Pandya and LSI is led by Indian Opener KL Rahul.
Both the teams showed excellent cricket performance throughout the season, a total of 14 matches played by the teams; Gujarat won 10 and Lucknow won 9. Their excellent performance made them qualify for the Super 4 stage of the tournament.
In the first Qualifier, GT defeated Rajasthan and confirm their seat in the Final. But LSG was defeated by the RCB and ended their journey of IPL 2022 there.
In the IPL 2022 final, Gujarat Titans won by 7 wickets to Rajasthan Royals and named their first IPL trophy in the first season.

The two most successful IPL franchises — Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings had bad luck this season, they finished at the bottom of the IPL 2022 Points Table. Both teams only won 4 matches from 14 total matches played.
