Heart-breaking news came out of BCCI officials’ desks that will surely make the Indian Cricket fans sad before the upcoming T20 World Cup. Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 squad because of a back stress fracture, as per the report PTI.

He was also out from the recent Asia Cup 2022 because of this injury but made a comeback in Ind vs Aus second T20I match. His name was in the India squad for T20 World Cup 2022 which will be hosted in Australia from 16 October.

He was also confirmed to travel to Trivandrum along with the Indian team squad but couldn’t play because of back pain.

Bumrah Ruled Out of T20 World Cup 2022


Due to a back stress fracture, Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 which is going to commence on 16 October in Australia. India will play their opening match of the World Cup against Pakistan on 23 October.

But this news from the BCCI officials broke the fans’ hearts…

“Jasprit Bumrah complained of back pain during India’s practice session on Tuesday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He is ruled out of the first T20I,” BCCI had tweeted.

“Bumrah is not going to play the World T20 for sure. He has a serious back condition. It’s a stress fracture and he could be out for a period of six months,” the senior BCCI official told PTI.

PTI has reported that star bowler Jasprit Bumrah won’t be able to show action for six months due to a back stress fracture. That means Bumrah is not going to fly to Australia along with Indian Squad for the T20 World Cup.

It’s been 15 years for India to win a T20 World Cup trophy, it came home under the MS Dhoni captaincy in 2007 and this year, fans want to finish this wait for their 2nd trophy but this news has broken all the dreams. Bumrah is the star bowler of the Indian Squad and if he is not playing then India’s chances to win also get low.
